You’ve heard his music, but did you know that number one billboard selling country music artist Lucas Hoge is equally (if not more) passionate about hunting as he is music? Growing up in the small town of Hubbell, Nebraska, hunting and fishing were a way of life and a rite of passage.
These childhood experiences ignited Hoge’s passion for the outdoors which has remained a constant thread as he has carved out his music career as one of the most well known Country Music artists in the USA.
Crediting his guitar and music as having acted as his passport to explore the world, and it was during these travels that the idea for "Hoge Wild" was born.
Hoge Wild provided the perfect excuse for Hoge and his crew to travel to the Sportsmans Paradise of Venator New Zealand to capture and film exhilarating hunting action for Season 4 of his eponymous tv show.
Hoge pursues the game species that New Zealand is famous joining him as he stalks Venator's giant Red Stags, heads to the mountains in search of European Chamois, and Himalayan Tahr and hunts Arapawa Ram and feral goats in the foot hills of the Southern Alps.
Hoge's New Zealand hunting adventure with Venator sees them traverse the South Island of New Zealand as they pursue these magnificent animals with the assistance of Venator's expert team of guides.
